This was posted on the RTH Ravelry group, and I thought it was a pretty informative questionnaire. most aren't, so I'm reposting here.
1. What is your name and does it have a special meaning? My mother named me Tania Ann. To my knowledge, it has no special meaning, except the middle name is hers. I changed the spelling to Anne. I like how it looks better.
2. How old are you? I will be 35 in October.
3. When is your birthday and/or what is your astrological sign? October 29th. In Western astrology I’m a Scorpio, in Eastern, a Tiger.
4. Where do you live (country/state)? South Carolina, USA
5. Do you have siblings? I have a brother 12 years younger, and a sister 8 years younger
6. Do you keep up with current trends (fashion, technology, knitting trends, etc)? Not usually. I’m usually just a tad behind the times, but I like it that way.
7. Share an embarrassing moment or funny story. Uh .. I have a bad memory. I don’t remember any.
8. What is a good food you tried recently? Haven’t tried anything really new, but I’m big on the trying new things.
9. What is your favorite Drink (alcoholic or non)? Chocolate milk, hands down.
10. If you were a crayon what color would you be? Hooray for Wikipedia - I’d probably be Plum, or Fern, or Cadet Blue.
11. Have you read a good book recently? Besides Shorn, no. I’m woefully behind in my reading.
12. Who is your favorite actor? That changes too often to pick one. I love Johnny Depp though.
13. What is your favorite new fashion trend? A-line skirts are my new favorite, not that it’s new to the world.
14. What are your favorite TV shows? Any CSI, NCIS, Bones, Firefly, Dollhouse, Castle, Numbers, American Idol, Survivor, Amazing Race .. the list goes on.
15. Do you have a favorite new song? Hrm. My recent obsession is Adam Lambert’s version of Mad World.
16. What is your favorite movie? Again, too many to name. I love the Pirate’s trilogy, the Harry Potter movies, the LOTR trilogy, Serenity, Wanted, the Narnia movies .. but there’s a ton of other ones too.

18. What activity do you love most in the world? Traveling.
19. Are you married or in a relationship? Married, going on 8 years this August 18th.
20. What is your living situation (house, apartment, dorm, etc)? I live in a 1k-square-foot townhome with my husband and the cat who we serve.
21. Do you have any children? (ages?) Newp. And have no plans to have them.
22. Tell us about your best friend. My oldest best friend I’ve known since second grade. We’re very different now in a lot of ways, but I still keep in touch with her - thanks to Facebook - and get to be involved in her life with her kids and such that way. My newest best friend is far younger than I am, but we are like twins in so many ways it’s not funny, so the age difference doesn’t interfere .. though it’s amusing when he talks about something I don’t understand.
23. Name one thing you admire about someone on this forum. homegrownrose’s ability to take care of two young children, especially when one of them needs so much extra care and attention.
24. Do you wear makeup? Sometimes I wear that bare minerals stuff. I like it better than anything else.
25. If money were no object, what would you do with your life? We would spend a lot of time traveling the world, exploring new places.
26. Is your desk messy or organized? Right now? It’s a bit disheveled, but I try to keep it, my kitchen and my altar organized.
27. Do you have a hidden talent? If I do, it’s hidden even from me.
28. Are you athletic at all? Not particularly.
29. Do you have pets? If you can call her a pet, yes. That lovely feline in my Ravatar. The beautiful Isis.
30. What sports do you like/watch/participate in? I watch many .. love hockey, and even football - american that is.
31. What color is your hair? Naturally? Sort of a warm cocoa. I’m prone to dying it with redder tones or putting honey/caramel highlights in it.
32. What color are your eyes? Brown.
33. What is your religion or faith? (Answer only if you would like to share. Answers are not up for debate - just sharing who we are as individuals)? The short answer is that I am Pagan. I call myself a hearth witch, and my spiritual beliefs run towards Animism.
34. Did you go to college, or do you want to? I got an AS in 1995, then just got another AA last year, and now I’m working on my BA with plans for a Master’s afterwards.
35. What did you/ are going to major in? My AS is in Computer Information Systems. My AA is in General Studies. My BA is in Humanities, unless I have to change schools again. My Masters will be in Distance Education and Administration.
36. What is your profession / skill? I currently work as a merchandising representatives for the major movie studios.
37. Do you collect anything? Do yarn and needles count? Those. I love the devil duckies. I’ve become addicted to Jim Shore stuff, though mainly the Halloween pieces. Some of his others are amazing too. Jason would say I collect tea. I want to collect teapots, but haven’t gotten any I really would display yet. Books, though we’re trying to get away from that. I used to collect teddy bears, and still have a number of them. Oh, and cookbooks.
38. If you could model yourself after any person in history who would it be? Huh. I’ll get back to you on this.
39. If you could change your name, what would it be? Why would I change my name? It’s who I am.
40. What causes are you interested in (charities, awareness, etc)? Caring for animals, gay/lesbian rights, women’s health.
41. What is your favorite website? Ravelry. Seriously. I could live without anything else, but I love Ravelry.
42. What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Mint chocolate chip.
43. Do you have a flickr account? (If it is public, link please!) I do, but I rarely use it. I have Photobucket and Fotki too, and rarely use them either. I should do something about that.
44. Do you have a blog? (If it is public, link please!) I have two. One for life, one for knitting.
45. What languages do you speak? Well? Just English. I took Spanish in high school and college, and managed to understand enough to get by in Spain, but I can’t think in it enough to consider myself nearly fluent.
46. How did you choose your screen name?Tygher has been my online name since I’ve been online. I have always had an obsession with tigers. Tiger and tyger were taken, so I got creative with the spelling. And well .. I knit.*
47. Do you have a myspace or facebook page? (if it is public, link please!) Facebook yes. Myspace I have but it’s empty. Just there to keep tabs of a couple musical artists.
48. What homemaking skills do you want to learn? I want to be better at scheduling my time and keeping organized.
49. What shampoo do you use? Currently VO5 Strengthening. I change it about every time I buy shampoo.
50. Is there anything you consider yourself an expert in? Cussing? No, not even that. I feel I’m good at a lot of things, but by no means expert.
51. If you had a whole day of free time, what would you do? Oh wow. Probably not know what to do with myself. Knit a little, play EQ2 (my newest obsession) or Wii, or both. maybe go to the botanical garden and take pictures.
52. What is a major life goal for you? I want to be financially stable enough that I could not work for a month and not have to worry. I also would like to have a horse, and maybe some sheep/goats/alpaca.
53. Do you know what you want to be when you “grow up” or is there something you would like to do that is different from what you’re doing now? (no matter your age) Hm. I want to teach online. I want to put some of the ideas I have about how online classes are run into use.
54. Do you prefer the city or the country? Country,though not so far that a trip to the grocery store is an ordeal.
55. What is your most commonly used phrase? Right now it’s “Really?”
56. Do you prefer talking or texting? Texting, to be honest. But I write texts like mini emails, and don’t use text shorthand.
57. Do you like reading? I love to read. just can’t seem to sit still long enough to do so.
58. What is/was your favorite subject in school? English/Literature.
59. What type of person are you, in your own words? I’m a mother bear.
60. What kinds of things do you like to do with your friends? Knit. Go to the beach. Go to the mountains. Travel almost anywhere. Go out to dinner. Have dinner at home.
61. What do you like to do for fun on your own? Knit. Play PC and/or video games. Cook. Watch tv/movies.
62. Have you ever broken a bone? My hand. I caught a baseball bat being swung at my head.
63. Describe your dream house. Not too big. Maybe 2-3 extra bedrooms. A real library/office. A crafting room. A big living room. I want to have a pool, and it has to have an updated kitchen. A walk in pantry. Hardwood floors - none of this carpeting crud. Lots of natural light, and hopefully a pretty view. Flowerbeds and a kitchen garden too.
64. Do you have a favorite Starbucks drink? I love their Chai lattes.
65. How do you spend your days usually? I get up and get ready for the day, spend some time on the internet. if I have to work, I go to work a few hours, then come home, clean if something needs cleaning, do some laundry, and play EQ2 a while. I cook dinner, have dinner with hubby, then we watch tv until he goes to bed.
66. If you could make a wish come true for someone, what would it be? For my mother not to have to live in constant pain.
67. What do you value most in a person? Honesty.
68. Where would you like to live? I never can answer this. I want it to be somewhere that I can enjoy my two loves - the beach and the mountains - without too much traveling, but other than that, I’m not picky.
69. What was the last random act of kindness you received or witnessed (here or in real life in any way)? I got two RAK packages just today! Some tea and honey from fasola4mi and some yarn and a blank journal from knittyknotty.
70. Have you ever been hypnotized? No, but I think it’d be cool in the right circumstances.
71. Are you sarcastic? I can be. I try not to be, but it’s so natural.
72. What is your favorite season of the year? Autumn, hands down.
73. Wat do you appreciate most about your friends? Thet they put up with my oddities and still love me.
74. What is your favorite quote? It can vary. My current one is from the tv show Numb3rs: “Whatever God is, it’s in how we’re there for eachother.”
75. Where would your dream vacation be? Traveling the Mediterranean by sea.
76. What is your favorite animal? As a pet, I have to say cats and dogs pretty equally. But animals in general? I’ve always been fascinated by elephants.
77. What is your greatest fear? Being alone. I have massive phobias of bees and planes (not flying, just the planes themselves) .. but being alone is definitely my greatest fear.
78. What is your favorite scent? Blooming lilacs.
79. What character from a book or movie are you most like? I really don’t know if I could pick just one.
80. Would you bungee jump? Sure, why not?
81. Something you are looking forward to. Graduating with my Master’s degree.
82. What creative things do you do (list any and all from cooking to sewing to scrapping to writing to knitting! the sky is the limit!) I knit. I write poetry. I bake and cook. I aspire to write fiction, but haven’t really practiced it. I love to take pictures.
83. Do you have any other hobbies / extra-curriculars? Photography. Not that I think I’m really good at it, but I’m a big-ol’ shutterbug and I love my digital SLR.
84. Do you usually wear jewelry? Earrings. I can’t wear my wedding rings currently. They shrank. Shrunk?
85. When you want to pamper yourself what do you do? Get a manicure/pedicure. Maybe get a massage too.
86. Do you have any scars? Several. They mostly have stories, except the recent ones. Those are all from the cat.
87. Are you an early riser or a late nighter? Late nighter.
88. What is your dream profession? Dream profession? I want to own a much-loved knit shop.
89. What jobs have you had up to now? I’ve worked as a cashier in two places, had a couple short-term secretarial jobs, then did internet tech support, and then got the job I have now.
90. What was the most frightening OR exciting moment of your life? Getting on the Greyhound bus that took me and my backpack of clothes and stuff all the way from new Hampshire to South Carolina to meet my now husband. We’d only ever talked on the phone before, and I left everything I know to move down here on faith alone that it would work out.
91. Would you rather go for a walk or a drive? A drive, usually, because I dislike insects.
92. Do you have allergies? Just the usual pollen allergies that spring up in spring and fall.
93. Do you walk or talk in your sleep? Not that Jason has told me. I don’t remember conversations he has with me in the mornings, though.
94. How many countries have you traveled to? Four. Canada, Spain, England and the USA.
95. How are you leaving your mark on the world? I’m not sure yet. I’ll let you know when I figure it out.
96. Out of these 10 countries, which one would you like to visit? : Germany, France, England, Italy. Sweden, Spain, Turkey, Egypt, Australia, Switzerland. Well, I’ve already been to Spain and England. I’d like to go to Italy for certain. then maybe France, Germany, Turkey, Egypt and Australia.
97. Tell us something about you that we don’t already know. I almost didn’t graduate high school because of my stubbornness. I skipped school the day of an oral report I was supposed to do. I had to come to school after classes were done for Seniors and present it to the teacher or I wouldn’t have gotten my diploma.
98. Are you superstitious? Certainly.
99. What do you hope your life will look like in 5 years? I hope I will have finished my degree and will have found a position teaching for a good school. And we’ll have been at least to peru, which is our gift to ourselves for finishing our Bachelor’s degrees.
100. What do you hope your life will look like in 10 years? I want to be happy, teaching still, and able to travel with my husband whenever we feel the urge. I want us to be financially stable and both in careers we enjoy, not just jobs that pay the bills.
