Life here is pretty ordinary. I work 15-20 hours a week, I keep the house as in order as I am able, I am taking 18 credit hours of classes this semester, and I play World of Warcraft. Occasionally we go out, to the movies, or to the theatre, or to dinner somewhere nice. But with J working 50 hour weeks, it's hard.

We did recently see Pan's Labyrinth. I will recommend it with a few caveats. First, it's completely in spanish, with english subtitles. Second, do not bring children to it, as there are some very graphically violent scenes that even I had to turn away from. In fact, after one .. which I did not at all expect, I very nearly left the theater in tears it upset me so much. But it's a wonderful story, and I was very glad to have seen it. And it helped me practice my Spanish. :)

We just yesterday went to see Rent, as it's on tour now and stopped in Charlote for three days. The touring cast is very good. There's no Idina Menzel there, or even Frenchie Davis, but they were excellent. Very engaging and I was in tears as much as I was when I saw the Broadway cast. If it comes near you, I encourage you to go see it!

Classes are .. well .. classes. Psychology is a lot of information to absorb .. a chapter about every 5-6 days, plus homework assignments. Spanish is a chapter a week, and if I wouldn't put it off to the last day it'd be easier. I've an essay to finish for my English 102 class, but that's not a concern. I've a very rough draft ready to post as it is, and I shouldn't have trouble getting that done by the due date. And the government classes are pretty straightforward .. a little discussion, a little reading, and a few exams.

Work is slowed down from the hectic pace of the last two months, for which I am grateful. There are still a few snags with varios programs and vendors, but it's an easy job, and Donna even told me today she doesn't check up on me because she knows I know what I'm doing.

That's about all that's going on in my life. I knit when I have time, and I play World of Warcraft .. more than I had been since the expansion came out. I'm boring .. old and married and dull. But I rather like it that way. :)
